Transformational Living....

On a Friday morning in 2009 I woke up and decided I was done with living my life as I had been up until then. I was ready for a transformation. I was ready to let go of ways of being in the world that were just no longer working for me. I was ready to examine my life with a curiosity that would allow for me to decide what was working for me and what needed to let go. Truthfully, the transformation that was calling to my soul began to take hold of me a year earlier when I enrolled in a personal and professional growth training program. I knew going into this program things in my life would begin to shift but it was really that Friday morning in 2009 that I was truly ready to surrender to transformation.

I’ve spent the last 8 years of my life mining this surrender and transforming my personal and professional life. I let go of a career path that was not serving me. I began to let go of relationships that were not serving me or just plain old toxic. I brought my full attention to revitalizing relationships in my life that nourished my soul. I found my stride in physical activity and fueled my body with whole and healthy foods. It was through this process that Transformational Living, LLC was born and remains a work in progress each day.

What exactly is Transformation Living and what does this mean to me? Transformational Living, for me, is about living my authentic truth with a strong commitment to honor my body, my soul, and my health in each and every aspect of my life. It’s my commitment to myself to act from a conscious and aware place inside of me. It’s about living into curiosity and letting go of judgment. It’s about choosing relationships which are meaningful and being fully committed to what I am passionate about in my career. It’s about letting go of all the things I at times think I “should” be and finding my soul’s true calling. From these guiding principles, my career has evolved from working as a therapist in the mental health community to include becoming an educator, health/wellness and nutrition coach, CranioSacral therapist, researcher, entrepreneur, and aspiring writer.

Transformational Living is about creating community and sharing education that speaks to others about health and vitality. It’s my wish that if you’ve stumbled upon this website or blog that you will use the resources found here to support your own goals and health.
